Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of MS/Tele experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a short-term acute care, Level III trauma teaching hospital
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:00)
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope to like units or affiliated campuses as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic charting system
• Scrub color: royal blue and white

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Epic EMR experience required
• No background or license actions within the past 12 months
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Deliver medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care within a Level III trauma teaching hospital setting
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Maximum of 4 days RTO permitted, with holiday RTO limited to one major holiday
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Night shift travelers may extend their contract up to two times before a 6-month waiting period applies
• Modules must be completed prior to start date
