Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele Float RN with 2+ years' experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift assignment.
Details
- Float Pool position within the Medical-Surgical Telemetry specialty
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (NH or Compact) currently in hand
- MA license required if applicable
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Float to various units as needed within the Med/Surg Tele specialty
- Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
- Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Local candidates are not accepted for this role
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
- No holiday RTO will be approved, and no more than three days of RTO will be accepted overall
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply, as no previous travel experience is required
