Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB registration and recent travel experience for a 13-week contract in Minot, ND.

Details

• Nuclear Medicine department performing mostly general imaging studies
• Stress tests, HIDA, Bone, and PET/CT experience helpful but not required
• 5x8 AM shift schedule, 40 hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract length

Requirements

• ARRT or NMTCB registered, or registry pending
• NDMIRTBE license or temporary license required if applicable
• Working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Graduate of Nuclear Medicine School or ARRT Registered Technologist
• Ability to start IVs for contrast administration
• Recent travel experience required
• Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Resume, skills checklist, and proof of licensure required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs Nuclear Medicine studies, and prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies under Radiologist direction
• Performs quality control and calibration testing on cameras and radiation measuring equipment per hospital policy
• Follows radiation safety techniques and policies for receipt, use, and disposal of radioactive material
• Responsible for proper charging of procedures through the hospital information system
• Local candidates not accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
