Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with fetal monitoring and c-section circulating skills for a rotating shift assignment requiring an active MN RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit with rotating Postpartum care responsibilities
• Cares for newborn, adolescent, and adult patients
• Performs fetal monitoring and interpretation and circulates for c-sections
• Uses Epic EMR
• Rotating 12-hour shifts covering days and nights (7a-7:30p and 7p-7:30a)
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (compact license not accepted)
• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Postpartum and newborn care skills required
• Fetal monitoring interpretation experience required
• Circulating for c-sections experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS (AHA or ARC) and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN certification required
• STABLE and EFM fetal monitoring experience highly preferred
• Must list prior work history with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, and/or Blaze Health LLC on resume if applicable

Additional Information

• Provides holistic nursing care across the lifespan, including neonates through older adults
• Executes full Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
• Coordinates care among disciplines and delegates tasks as appropriate
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• MN DHS Net Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
• Strict compliance deadline of 4pm the Wednesday before start date, with no exceptions
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application, as facility may not honor requests made after
