Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/OB unit requiring an active MI license and 3+ years of OB/GYN experience.
Details
- OB unit in a 202-bed regional hospital setting
- 3:1 patient ratio for OB based on acuity
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week with possible holiday coverage
- Every other weekend required, with possible flexibility to every third weekend
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of submission
- Compact license not accepted
- Minimum 3 years of OB/GYN experience required
- Prior Labor & Delivery experience required
- Comfortable with couplet care and stabilization
- Pediatrics experience preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, and STABLE
- ACLS certification preferred
Additional Information
- Join a collegial, well-established team of experienced providers serving a large primary service area
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Facility enforces a strict attendance policy; more than one absence or late arrival (20+ minutes) may result in termination, with exceptions considered for documented illness or hospitalization
- Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested
- Local candidates within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers and receive a reduced travel rate
- First-time travelers may be considered
