Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of experience and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
• Floating required in rotation with facility staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and appropriate orientation to new units

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license required in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Cerner charting system experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit
• Smoke and nicotine-free facility
• Expect to work some holidays, with minimal RTO requests especially during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Local candidates highly preferred with no radius restrictions
• Possibility of a permanent position offer after the assignment
• Former permanent employees must have been separated from the facility for a minimum of 5 years to be eligible
