Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Tele RN for a night shift position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and comfort with Bi-Pap and high flow O2.

Details

• 21-bed general medical observation unit
• Patient population includes COPD, pneumonia, infections, and UTI cases
• Requires comfort with Bi-Pap and high flow O2 equipment
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3-4 shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope to similar units required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg-Tele specialty required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required

Additional Information

• Must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility with no exceptions
• RTO must be submitted with candidate profile
