Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week day shift assignment in a hospital radiology department.

Details

• Adult acute care and outpatient settings, including ER/Trauma
• Performs MRI imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions
• Uses GE MRI equipment and PACS system
• Performs special imaging procedures including gradient echo, spin echo, T1/T2 weighted imaging, MIP, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT (R)(MRI) and ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• CRT/CA license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Experience starting peripheral IVs
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission

Additional Information

• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former employees of the health system may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with the health system, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles
