Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Level II Trauma background for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Details

• CT Tech unit within an adult acute care hospital setting
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No call requirements
• Holiday coverage required
• Epic experience preferred
• Performs CT imaging including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiac studies
• Utilizes 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI post-processing techniques
• Uses GE equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
• WI license required if applicable, with pending licenses considered
• Level II Trauma experience required, Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Prior travel experience required, unless candidate has Level I or Level II trauma background
• Experience with peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE

Additional Information

• Performs specialized procedures including biopsies, aspirations, drainage, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and vascular CTA
• Works within adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Candidates without prior travel experience may be considered if they have Level I or Level II trauma experience
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Facility cannot accommodate travelers with latex allergies
• Previously employed travelers may return only after a minimum 1-year separation
• Travel pairs accepted
