Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Float Pool RN for a night shift position requiring a PA or compact RN license and Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry float position within a hospital setting
- Team nursing model with patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:8
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30
- Weekend rotation required every other weekend
- Float position requiring staff to float within scope to meet facility needs
- No block scheduling accommodations available
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active PA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:8 required
- Epic charting system experience required
- NIHSS and TCAR certifications preferred
Additional Information
- Care for patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry-level monitoring
- May float to various units based on facility needs within scope of practice
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for consideration
- Former Guthrie Healthcare System employees must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- RTO requests of 5 days or less are preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
