Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR Tech for a hybrid vascular OR, requiring 2+ years experience and AAA endovascular case experience.
Details
- Vascular Hybrid Room Cath Lab/IR/special procedure setting
- Scheduled to work every Wednesday and Thursday, 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM until cases are completed
- Rotating on-call schedule of 7 days on-call followed by 7 days off-call per pay period
- On-call coverage begins at 4:30 PM each day during the call week
- One weekend of coverage required during the call period
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab/IR Tech
- Experience with AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) endovascular cases required
- Comfortable working in a hybrid OR environment
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- ARRT certification required for Techs without RCIS, or RCIS required for Techs without ARRT
- Skills in IV therapy and assisting with central line insertion/management preferred
- Experience with circulate procedures, cardiac cath lab procedures, rotablator atherectomy, scrub procedures, TAVR, and ventricular assist device insertion
- Previous travel experience required
- License required if applicable, permanent license must be in-hand prior to consideration as temporary licenses are not accepted
Additional Information
- RTO is limited during the holiday season
- Holiday rotation and every-other-weekend coverage required
- Pre-start modules averaging 4 hours must be completed prior to assignment start
