Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and CT angiography experience for a 26-week contract in a remote hospital setting.

Details

• Performs imaging examinations on patients of all ages, from newborn through geriatric
• May perform receptionist/clerk duties or other department tasks as needed
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Varying shift schedule
• Uses radiography and computed tomography equipment, with Siemens and Fuji equipment experience preferred
• 26-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with dedicated CT training preferred
• Current ARRT (R)(CT) registration or equivalent required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years post-graduation experience preferred
• Experience performing CT angiography studies including PE chest, CTA head, CTA neck, and CTA abdomen with lower extremity run-off preferred
• License required if applicable
• Documentation required for consideration includes photo ID, SSN card, professional license/certification, education transcripts where required, background check, 10-panel drug screen within last 90 days, competency checklist, OIG/SAM/OFAC/OSHA reports, national sex offender registry search, fit test or physical, emergency contact information, and 3 references
• Proof of completed immunizations required, including Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Varicella, MMR, Tdap, and Polio, or historical shot records/titers
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Contributes to efficient department operations and ensures quality, continuous patient care
• Shared hospital housing provided in a remote area, with private bedrooms and shared common spaces; male or female units only; no pets allowed
• Airfare reimbursed by facility after arrival; economy class flights required with detailed flight and luggage receipts submitted for reimbursement
• Flight itinerary must be provided at least one week in advance to arrange orientation and housing
• New Employee Orientation occurs every Tuesday and Wednesday only
• Facility does not pick up returning travelers from the airport
• Proof of completed COVID vaccinations required for all travelers
• No holiday coverage required
