Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Level 1 experience and active Michigan licensure.
Details
- Family Birthing Unit within a 288-bed tertiary teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center
- Cares for labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery patients with Level 1 experience required
- Night shift schedule (12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active Michigan (MI) RN license required at time of submission
- Compact licenses not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery with Level 1 experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN
- Cannot be working another job concurrently with this assignment
Additional Information
- Must reside within a 35-mile radius to qualify for local traveler status, which reduces travel pay rate by 10%
- No special schedule requests accommodated
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Maximum of 5 days RTO can be requested
- Candidates requesting more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off may experience delayed processing
