Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with EP Lab experience and Epic proficiency for a day shift assignment in an Electrophysiology Lab.
Details
- Work in the EP Lab unit
- Patient population includes adult and geriatric cardiac rhythm cases
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotating late shifts
- No weekends or holidays required
- Must be available for on-call and remain until all procedures for the day are completed, which may result in overtime
- Floating to units within competencies is required
- Uses Epic and Change Healthcare systems
Requirements
- Current RRT license required if applicable
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- EP Lab experience as a traveler required
- Experience with circulating, monitoring, and assessment during moderate sedation required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Scrub experience preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include circulating, monitoring, and patient assessment during moderate sedation procedures
- Scrub color is provided by the facility
- Fingerprinting process must begin within 48 hours of offer acceptance
- Covid vaccine and flu shot are not required; if declined, a mask must be worn at all times except during meals
- Candidates must not have worked perm or per diem at this facility within the last 12 months
- Local candidates are accepted
- Position offers local and radius rate eligibility within 50 miles
- Full availability and scheduling flexibility is required
- This position must be maintained as the primary work commitment above any other job
