Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center, requiring at least 6 months of recent acute care CT Tech experience.

Details

• CT Scan department on the 3rd floor of the main hospital
• Unit has 3 CT scanners with a 4th scanner coming online, including GE Revolution 512, GE Evolution 128, and GE 64 slice scanners
• Staffed by a team of 13 including charge techs, day techs, mid-shift techs, and night shift techs
• EMR system is Meditech
• Schedule includes Tuesday and Thursday shifts with a 3rd floating day
• Shift runs from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Typical procedures include stroke, trauma, head and chest CT, abdomen/pelvis CT, and CTA

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital CT Tech experience
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Trauma and stroke experience preferred
• IV skills preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
