Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift radiology position requiring R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) certification and experience performing routine CT & CTA exams.
Details
- Radiology department with 1 CT room, 1 trauma x-ray room, 1 fluoroscopy/x-ray room, and 2 portable units
- Staffed by 22 total technologists including a lead technologist and multi-modality CT/x-ray technologists
- All GE imaging equipment with digital radiology
- EMR is Cerner/PowerChart with Philips Intellispace PACS
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Floating required across CT, x-ray, and fluoroscopy areas
Requirements
- R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) certification required, license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Experience performing routine CT & CTA exams required
- Experience with GE x-ray units and CT scanners required
- Working knowledge of Cerner and Philips PACS software preferred
- Prior radiology travel assignment experience preferred
Additional Information
- Perform all types of CT procedures excluding cardiac, plus CT guided biopsies
- Handle a full range of trauma radiology, fluoroscopy, and C-arm cases
- Friendly, considerate team player with ability to work independently
- Compassionate approach to patient and co-worker needs
- Navy blue scrub attire required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
