Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 4 years of experience and telemetry/IMCU background.
Details
- Med/Surg Tele unit setting with telemetry and IMCU patients
- Patient ratios of 1:5 for Med/Surg patients and 1:4 for IMCU patients
- PM shift schedule, 645p-7a, 3 shifts per week
- 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- Rotating weekend requirements
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 4 years of nursing experience required
- Telemetry and IMCU experience required
- 2 professional references required
- Flu vaccination required with no exemptions granted
Additional Information
- Navy scrub color required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Local candidates within the radius are not accepted
