Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a community hospital setting requiring an active CA RN license and 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a community hospital
• Day shift schedule alternating between 3x12s and 2x12s, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Variable days with every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year
• 7-year work history verification required, including documentation if needed

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a medical surgical hospital setting
• Local candidates accepted at local rate
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius for local rate eligibility
• Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Max RTO of 7 days per contract
• Only 1 holiday RTO request permitted per contract
• Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Labs must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date
