Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least one year of experience and a compact or OK RN license.

• Operating Room unit assignment
• 13-week contract with a 06:30-17:00 shift schedule
• 4/10's shift pattern with call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or OK) currently in hand
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols
• Implement and monitor patient care plans while monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition
• Serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
• Follow Standard Precautions using appropriate personal protective equipment
• Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate
