Description
American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel nursing experience, and a TN or compact RN license.
Details
- Home health setting providing intermittent visits within assigned patient territories
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Performs nursing assessments, medication management, wound care, disease management, and patient education
- Uses equipment such as wound vacs, IV pumps, nephrostomy tubes, tracheostomy supplies, PICC line supplies, port access supplies, Foley catheters, feeding tubes, and ostomy supplies
- Visits typically last 30-45 minutes, with admission visits lasting 1 hour or more
- Expectation of completing 6 patient units of productivity per 8-hour day
- Does not provide in-home infusion services
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- No weekend or on-call requirements, though occasional weekend work is possible
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Level III trauma experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Reliable personal vehicle required
