Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring MD or compact license and prior travel assignment experience.
Details
- MS/Tele unit functioning partly as an ED Boarder RN role
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
- Float to MS and MS/Tele units as needed
- Cerner charting system experience preferred
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required
- Must have completed at least one previous travel assignment
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
- 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required
- Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care for boarding ED patients and Med/Surg Tele patients
- Flu vaccine required for all employees at this facility
- Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower pay rate
- No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per 13-week contract
- Previous MedStar employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- Manager interviews are not guaranteed
