Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a freestanding ED requiring TNCC and NIH Stroke certification.
Details
- Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) operating 24/7
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
- TNCC certification required
- CPI certification required for ER units
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered

Cons
Only thing they will float travelers to antepartum or assign pp pts on hold in L&D unit more frequently instead of rotating the nurses.
