Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular Unit position requiring 2 years of critical care experience and a current CA RN license.

Details

30-bed Cardiovascular Unit providing medical, pre-operative, and post-operative surgical care
Medium to high acuity patient population from young adults through geriatric patients
Common diagnoses include cardiac conditions, pre/post CABG, carotid endarterectomy, acute MI, post pacemaker insertion, arrhythmia detection, CHF, and pneumonia
Patient-to-nurse ratio not to exceed 1:4
12-hour day shifts starting at 0700
EPIC EMR used
May float to other units, including Med/Surg

Requirements

Active CA RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience
EPIC charting experience required
Successful completion of prior traveler assignments required

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to medium to high acuity cardiovascular patients
Holiday coverage required
Float assignments to Med/Surg and other units may be required as needed
