Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a Level III trauma center, requiring 3+ years of recovery experience and NM or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Phase I Recovery unit within a Level III trauma center performing Level I and II procedures except open hearts
- Recovers patients from General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, Ob/Gyn, Urology, ENT, and Robotics cases
- 7-bed unit with adult mid to high acuity patient population
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2
- Uses Mindray equipment and Cerner EHR
- Day shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
- On-call requirements for weekends and evenings
- Possible floating to PreOp and/or Endo units
Requirements
- Active RN license (NM or Compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of PACU/recovery experience required
- RN degree required
- Trauma level recovery experience required
- Pediatric dental recovery experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide Phase I recovery care to adult surgical patients across multiple specialties
- Facility is a 198-bed Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah
