Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg surgical unit position requiring dysrhythmia management skills and prior large-facility experience.
Details
- Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit providing pre- and post-operative surgical care
- Two levels of care: adult inpatient Med Surg acute and telemetry with continuous vital sign monitoring
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
- Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
- Telemetry experience with dysrhythmia management required
- BLS certification required
- Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred
Additional Information
- Provide bedside surgical care to pre- and post-operative patients
- Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Strong candidates preferred given the facility's high standards
