Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 12-hour night shift assignment on an Acute Medicine Unit, requiring GA or compact RN licensure and recent specialty experience.

Acute Medicine Unit within a hospital setting
Medical/Surgical patient population
12-hour night shifts, scheduled Sunday through Saturday 7P-7A
3 shifts per week
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
Current AHA BLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience

Additional Information

Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken a 2-year break from employment
RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested after
