Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for an Inpatient Oncology Unit position requiring recent specialty experience and holiday availability.
Details
- Inpatient Oncology Unit within an acute care hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Schedule varies between 7am-7pm
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology or medical/surgical specialty
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (American Heart Association)
Additional Information
- Provide medical/surgical nursing care to oncology patients
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
