Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring critical care/Angio-IR experience and stroke/trauma care skills at a Level 1 Trauma and Certified Stroke Center.

Details

• Work in the Angiography/IR - Interventional Labs unit within the Heart and Vascular Tower
• Unit consists of 3 Angiography Labs (2 dedicated IR Labs and 1 Hybrid OR)
• 1:1 patient ratio with team-based staffing of Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS
• Uses IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream equipment
• Documentation completed in EPIC Cupid
• 4x10-hour shift schedule with on-call requirements
• Procedures performed include Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology required
• Critical care/Angio-IR experience required, including stroke and trauma care
• ICU/ER experience required
• Critical care gtt management skills required
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Angiography/IR setting
• Work within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
• Required uniform: Royal blue and black for RNs
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
