Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of combined adult/pediatric emergency experience and a CT or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a General Emergency Department treating combined adult and pediatric patients
• 4x12 night shift schedule (1900-0730)
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating required as needed
• Level II Trauma Center at a short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds
• Uses EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (CT or compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Experience with management of dysrhythmias and cardiac monitoring required
• Central line care/management and IV starting/maintenance skills required
• IV vasopressor medication experience required
• Respiratory skills required including CPAP/BiPAP and care of ventilated patients
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE and triage required
• 1 professional reference required
• Must not have been separated from prior permanent staff employment for less than 2 years to be considered as a traveler
