Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring travel experience and TX or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment length
• Day shift available: 4x12-hour shifts
• Night shift available: 4x12-hour shifts
• Weekly hours of 48 preferred, though 36 may be considered

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• CPI, NRP, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Nursys verification required

Additional Information

• Must complete facility drug screening (including marijuana testing) upon arrival, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid CBD products and other substances that could result in a positive drug screen prior to onsite arrival
• Must reside outside a 110-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a completion plan in place
• Must report to San Angelo for the first day of the assignment
