Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT certification and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Work in the CT Tech unit at a medical campus with 96 inpatient beds, six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, labor and delivery with special care nursery, a 20-bay infusion clinic, and a 12-bed ICU/acuity adaptable unit
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Participates in call rotation
• Uses GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Travelers are first to float

Requirements

• ARRT certification required, along with Radiography and Cardiology-CT Tech qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Current BLS certification required
• ODH Ohio Radiologic License required if applicable
• EPIC charting experience required
• Canon and/or GE CT experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Performs and completes diagnostic radiology procedures following OhioHealth and ARRT guidelines
• Prepares patients for exams and positions them appropriately per department policy
• Ensures radiation safety for both operator and patient
• Charcoal grey scrubs required
• Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the central facility to be eligible for the position
• Maximum of 10 days RTO per contract, with no RTO allowed during initial weeks of the assignment
• Attendance policy: more than one call-off may result in termination, and no call/no show results in immediate termination
• Previous employees must have a 366-day separation from facility employment before returning as a traveler
• PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed PRN
