Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring an active FL or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience.

Details

• Hospital-based unit with 9 beds and NICU-level patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 1:6 in the nursery
• Utilizes giraffe isolettes, panda warmers, cribs, CPAP, and ventilators
• Documentation completed in Meditech and CPN
• Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week plus one call shift per month
• Floating to postpartum and nursery units required as needed
• Performs procedures including central line placement and intubations

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS, and STABLE (STABLE preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty required
• Must be able to labor, deliver, and recover patients, assist with newborn care, and circulate/recover cesarean section patients
• Skilled in caring for high-risk perinatal patients and stabilizing neonates from admission through discharge
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• Two professional references required for Florida candidates

Additional Information

• Provides comprehensive neonatal and perinatal nursing care across labor, delivery, and recovery
• Required to wear navy blue uniform scrubs
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered based on qualifications
