Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown position requiring 2+ years of experience and a compact or VA RN license.
Details
- Stepdown Cardiac unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12, 6:45p-7:15a
- Floating may be required in rotation with staff, based on clinical experience and unit needs
- Cerner/Oracle Health charting experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Active compact or VA RN license required in hand
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Candidates with pending certifications will be considered
- AHA-issued BLS accepted
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BSN not required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients
- Biweekly orientation held on Mondays
- 8-10 hours of orientation modules required, completed during orientation and annually
- Nicotine-free campus
- Scrubs may be any color with a professional appearance; child-friendly prints and lab coats allowed
- Expected to work some holidays in rotation with staff
- RTO must be approved prior to assignment start, with a preference for no RTO during the first weeks
- First-time travelers will not be accepted
- Former Centra employees must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- Must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility
- Local candidates not accepted
