Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 1 trauma outpatient department, requiring ARRT certification and prior CT experience on GE scanners.

Details

• Outpatient CT department within a 640-bed Level 1 trauma facility
• Department has 5 GE CT scanners
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour shifts, with scheduling options including 3 nights (starting 7pm), 3 days (starting 7am), or 4 10-hour days (starting 8am)
• Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend, Fri/Sat for nights or Sat/Sun for days
• No call, standby, or holiday requirements
• No floating to other departments required
• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation, typically about 1 week

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT and BLS certification required
• IEMA certification required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Experience on GE CT scanners preferred
• Must be able to start IVs
• Must be able to perform basic CT scanning in a fast-paced, high-acuity, high-volume environment
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Negative drug screen required for all panels

Additional Information

• Perform CT scanning procedures for a high-volume, high-acuity outpatient population
• Solid-colored scrubs with minor prints permitted
• Department-specific orientation provided, typically about 1 week
• Local candidates welcome, with reduced local rates available for those within 50 miles of the facility
• No radius restriction for eligibility
• COVID vaccination not required for this facility
