Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift contract requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• General Medical/Surgical unit with telemetry patients
• Night shift schedule with 10-hour shifts
• 36 or 48-hour contract options with overtime after 48 hours
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope to similar units may be required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg telemetry experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• 2 professional references from similar recent experience (1-2 years) required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to medical and surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility with no exceptions
• Local candidates are not accepted
• RTO must be submitted at time of application
