Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift assignment requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Details

• Med Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Full-time night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• May float to other departments based on business need within scope of competency
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required and must not expire prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification may be required depending on unit needs
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote service behavior standards and organizational mission and values
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening results required prior to start, with drug screening expected within 24 hours of assignment commitment
