Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi robotic system and Level II trauma experience at minimum.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Call requirement of 2-3 calls within a 6 week matrix with 30-minute response time required
• 3-4 weekend shifts required within a 6 week matrix, which may include days, evenings, or nights
• Holiday coverage required as needed on day, evening, or night shifts
• Floating required as needed
• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or PA) currently in hand, no license hits accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 3 years of experience required, with at least 2 years post-orientation
• Level II Trauma experience required (minimum 1 year), Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Must function independently without refresher training on the Da Vinci Xi robotic system
• Familiarity with the DV5 Da Vinci robot is a plus
• Must be proficient in robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties
• Must function independently across multiple specialties including robotics, orthopedics, general surgery, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac/open heart), and trauma

Additional Information

• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• May involve care for COVID-positive patients
• Travel pairs may be considered, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
• Maximum RTO of 7 days preferred
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are considered local and may be offered a lower bill rate
