Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with critical care/ventilator, neonatal, and pediatric experience for a night shift position treating patients of all ages and acuity levels.
Details
- Provides respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU
- 3x12-hour night shift schedule with rotating call and weekends
- Uses EPIC EMR
- Holiday coverage required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current NBRC RRT certification required; CRT not considered
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA) required if applicable
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Strong critical care and ventilator skills required
- Neonatal and pediatric experience required, including Level 2 NICU
- Current flu vaccination required October 1 through April 1 with no exemptions or declinations accepted
Additional Information
- Seeking an experienced traveler; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
- Local candidates within the radius will not be considered
