Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a rural clinic setting, requiring 3+ years of experience and current ARRT (R) certification.

Details

Provides diagnostic and therapeutic radiologic services on an inpatient and outpatient basis
Supports departments including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and ENT
Responsible for technical operation of x-ray equipment and processing of radiographic images
Uses teleradiology and fax equipment
EMR used is Allscripts
4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Holiday coverage required

Requirements

Must have completed radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology
Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiology
Experience operating teleradiology and fax equipment required
Current Arizona State License in Radiology (R) required if applicable
ARRT (R) certification required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required

Additional Information

Facility is located in a remote, rural area near Gap, AZ
Shared contractor housing may be available but is very limited and not guaranteed; no pets or family allowed
Housing application, if pursued, must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to start
Orientation occurs every 2 weeks
COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted with a declination form
First-time travelers may be considered
