Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a night shift assignment at a children's hospital, requiring tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line care experience.

Details

Pediatrics unit within a children's hospital setting
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00pm-7:30am
Required to work at least every other holiday
ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with passing scores required

Requirements

Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
Current BLS and PALS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) required
Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in pediatrics required
Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line care required
One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients requiring specialized respiratory and central line support
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
Background check hits are reviewed but open cases and license hits are not accepted
