Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with at least one year of recent MRI experience and Siemens equipment proficiency for an inpatient/outpatient hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department serving adult inpatient and outpatient populations
• Night shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM
• Hurricane sign-up required but not guaranteed
• Experience with Siemens equipment required; GE, Hitachi, Philips, or Toshiba experience preferred
• Performs Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head/Neck, Spine/Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (non-brain), Perfusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Spin Echo Images, and T1/T2 Weighted Imaging
• Breast, Cardiovascular, and Maximum Intensity Projection experience preferred
• Familiarity with Image Post-Processing, Multiplanar Reconstruction, and Surface Coils required
• Isolation precautions experience required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent MRI experience required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT national certification required
• BLS certification via AHA required
• Active Florida or compact Radiologic Technologist license required if performing X-Ray procedures
• Must have Florida or compact license in hand at time of consideration
• Adult patient care experience required
• X-Ray skills a plus but not required

Additional Information

• Must report to the facility within 72 hours of signing
• Smoke-free facility
• Locals within a 60-mile radius considered at a reduced pay rate
• Former Broward Health employees must have a one-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Proof of vaccination status required with no declinations allowed
• Pass/fail EKG testing required for applicable clinical areas
• First-time travelers may be considered
