Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMC Night Shift position requiring critical care and telemetry experience with a current OK or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC)/PCU/Stepdown unit of a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
- Floating required to other units and sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active OK or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of current critical care and telemetry experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Skills in IV therapy, central/arterial line management, and blood product administration
- Respiratory care experience including ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, and tracheostomy care
- Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and rapid response/code team protocols
- Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required for consideration
- Utility bill in candidate's name with matching address within the last three months required for consideration
- Two supervisory references required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care for a neurological, psychiatric, and medically complex patient population including seizure disorders and substance withdrawal
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- No local candidates accepted
- Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
- Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO permitted
- Previous INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum of one year separation from employment to be eligible
- First-time travelers are not considered for this position
- Any gaps of three months or more in work history must be explained
