Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a fast-paced surgical complex requiring OK or compact RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in a large OR Complex with 23 operating rooms running out of 18
• Patient population includes neurology, urology, oncology, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, OMF, and general surgery cases
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses various OR equipment depending on specialty
• Charts in EPIC EMR
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours
• Weekend hours required as needed by facility
• Floating required as needed by facility
• Call required: 2 primary and 2 backup rotations over a 2-month period with self-sign up, M-F 1100-0700

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• Minimum 1+ years of recent OR experience required
• Prior travel experience and specialty certification preferred
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

• Participate fully in all aspects of patient care and teamwork within the periop setting
• Professional and enthusiastic personality fit expected
• Light blue scrubs provided by facility
• Up to 5 days of RTO allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
