Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult critical care and ICU/CCU experience for a night shift position at a hospital emphasizing trauma and pediatric respiratory care.

Details

• Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at a large hospital facility
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Some holiday coverage expected

Requirements

• Active RRT certification required (CRT not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Adult critical care experience required
• Strong ICU/CCU experience required
• ER and Level II Trauma experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• Experience in large facilities strongly preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NBRC certification required
• License required if applicable
• Pending license accepted with submission but must be active before start date

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a critical care and trauma-focused hospital environment
• Support adult, pediatric, and trauma patient populations
• On-site drug screening required upon arrival, including testing for marijuana, with immediate cancellation for any positive result
• Candidates should avoid substances that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products, prior to arrival
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted for this position
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment
• RTO must be submitted with application
