Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high-risk L&D and cesarean circulator experience.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit setting
- High-risk labor and delivery patient population
- Circulator experience for cesarean deliveries required
- Shift schedule: 07:00-19:30 with every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation required alongside regular staff
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Current NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
- Fetal monitoring competency required, either via facility exam or AWHONN/Relias program within the past 2 years
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- High-risk labor and delivery experience required
- Prior travel nurse experience preferred
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Additional Information
- Provide skilled nursing care within a high-risk labor and delivery environment
- Support cesarean delivery procedures as circulator
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
- Travelers should begin discussing extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
- Only one submission permitted per candidate across the health system at a time
