Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a hospital-based role providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment to a diverse patient population.

• Hospital-based occupational therapy position
• 8-hour shifts, with schedule potentially varying based on coverage needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited program required, Master's degree highly desired
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience required in a US hospital setting
• Current Texas OT license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Additional Information

• Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team providing quality occupational therapy services
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop age-appropriate treatment plans based on physician referrals
• Accurately and thoroughly document patient treatment
• Ability to respond effectively to new and changing work assignments
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
