Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit position requiring CO or compact license and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of 3x12hr shifts, 1900-0730
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license, CO or compact, required
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required, must not expire prior to start
• TNCC preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system
• Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results using a designated vendor
• Report to the lab for drug screen within 24 hours of commitment
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
