Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Level I Trauma setting background for a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center.

Details

• Rotates between hospital and outpatient center
• Variable 8-hour shifts, day (6:30 AM-3:00 PM) or evening (2:00 PM-11:30 PM), Monday-Friday
• 2-3 weekends per month required
• No on-call requirements
• Serves adult, geriatric, neonatal, pediatric, infant, and adolescent patient populations
• Epic EMR experience preferred, training provided during orientation
• Equipment includes PACS and Toshiba CT systems

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• ARRT-CT and ARRT Advanced certification required
• BLS preferred
• License required if applicable
• Level I Trauma and inpatient/ER work setting experience required
• Adult ICU, IV, and contrast administration experience required
• Proficiency in preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs required
• Skills in abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast required
• Proof of high school level education required
• Prior travel experience required

Additional Information

• Facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level I Trauma and Stroke Center with 632 staffed beds
• Light blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers not accepted for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel
• Returning core staff must wait 12 months before reapplying
• RTO must be submitted at time of profile submission, with a 5-day maximum RTO policy per assignment
