Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology unit position requiring chemotherapy certification and Level II Trauma Center experience.
Details
- Work in the Oncology unit of a short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds
- Level II Trauma Center setting
- 4-5 patient ratio
- Day shift schedule (4x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
- Required to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
- Floating to other Med/Surg units required
- EPIC EMR used
Requirements
- Active CT or Compact RN license
- Current certifications: BLS, NIHSS, and Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC)
- EPIC charting experience required
- Trauma Center experience at a large facility required
Additional Information
- Wear royal blue scrubs
- Free parking available on site
- Part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- Must reside outside a 75-mile radius unless applying at the local rate
- Returning perm staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
- Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
- Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster required, with religious/medical exemptions only
