Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring 2 years of recent acute care experience and IL RN licensure.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00am-7:30pm
• No block scheduling permitted
• Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per month)
• No on-call requirements
• Mandatory float facility - all resources required to float at facility's discretion, including mid-shift
• Uses Cerner charting system

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg required
• Proof of COVID vaccination required (booster not required)
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years

Additional Information

• RTO limited to 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive days
• No RTO approved on weekends
• No holiday RTO and no RTO the day before or after a holiday
• May float to any unit within scope, including areas outside primary competency using a team-based model
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius of the facility
